HIVE Learning Programs | Adapt

Whatever Happens, Use It.

Improv for Business, the HIVE way: goals first, a hands-on method second, behavior change always. HIVE Facilitation improvisors run your room, and your people leave able to adapt in the moment and make the next move count.

The HIVE method

Your team gets facilitators who perform, not a slide deck.

Most training asks people to sit still and take notes. This one puts them on their feet, laughing, and learning without noticing.

HIVE Facilitation improvisors are professional entertainers trained in the HIVE method. They know how to adapt live, in front of real audiences, when the plan falls apart. They do not lecture about adaptability. They show it, coach it and get your people doing it.

Your people do not learn to be funny. They learn to listen harder, build on what is handed to them, and stay calm and useful when the meeting, the buyer or the week goes sideways.

  1. Goals firstWe start with the performance problem you own.
  2. Capability secondShort scenes train one skill at a time.
  3. Behavior change alwaysEveryone leaves with a habit for Monday.
Who it is for

Built for sales teams. Built for every team.

Sales teams

Discovery calls, objections, and the moment a buyer says something you did not prepare for. We turn those moments into your advantage.

All teams

Managers, project teams, customer service, operations, leadership groups. Anywhere work depends on listening, handing off and adapting when things change.

Good moments to book it: a sales kickoff, a leadership offsite, a change rollout, a team that has just merged or reorganized, a company event where you want people energized and learning.

What happens in the room

Starts as a game. Ends as a habit.

Fun first. Then real behavior change.

  1. Minute oneA HIVE facilitator opens live. Whole-room games, big laughs, no spectators. Within minutes the quiet people are playing and the skeptics are in.
  2. Then the games get a jobPairs and tables play short scenes built on one skill at a time: really listening, building on what someone gives you, and taking a curveball and running with it.
  3. Then the curveballs get realA HIVE Facilitation improvisor coaches each table while someone changes the scene on you. You can fight it, freeze, or use it.
  4. Then it goes to workTeams run scenes from their own business: a tough conversation, a surprise from a customer, a plan that changed an hour before launch.
  5. Last five minutesEveryone leaves with one habit they will use Monday morning.
Participants leave with

What your people walk out able to do.

  • Listen for what is actually being offered, instead of waiting for a turn to talk.
  • Say “yes, and” to a colleague’s idea and build it into something better.
  • Take a curveball and use it. A changed plan, a surprise question, a missing slide.
  • Stay composed in front of people, with a clearer voice and more comfort in the unknown.
  • Make fast decisions with the information in front of them.
  • Work together with less friction.

The sales version

  • Discovery: hear the offer behind the answer.
  • Objections: accept first, then build.
  • Reading the room: notice who leans in and what just changed.
  • Recovery: land on your feet when the demo goes sideways.

Scenes can come from your team’s own deals.
